With the cooperation of China Home Textile Association, Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology and other organizations, Haining city, Zhejiang Province, has decided to set up two bases that will focus on designers’ training and the innovation in home-textile industry.
These will be first ever bases for the improvement of home-textile industry.
Authorities said that the two bases will import renowned design teams to strengthen the ability of the local home-textile enterprises in developing new products. Besides, this will also shape up several designers for this local industry.
Local Government said that this will upgrade design and innovation levels of Chinese home-textile industry, and help cater to domestic and international market.
These projects will make Haining city one of the important production bases of home-textile industry and begin a new era for the sector.
